Berkshire Community College, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201

Four miles from the center of downtown Pittsfield is this lovely campus on 180 acres. Two classroom buildings, an environmental center, an arts center, a library, the student center, the administration building, and a field house provide the base of much of BCC's academic and community service functions. Buildings are named for famous Berkshirites. The property includes a marked nature trail, a pond, extensive playing fields, and an outdoor pool.

There is a child care center on the main campus, for the children of BCC students and staff. The Norman Rockwell Early Childhood Center is for children 15 months to 7 years old. Parents pay a reasonable fee for childcare services, based on the number of hours. For more information about this service, call 413-499-4660, ext. 3060 or 3061.

BCC South County Center, 343 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230

The college's South County Center, located at 343 Main Street in Great Barrington, opened in 1984 to allow students who live or work in southern Berkshire County easier access to BCC academic courses. Students may attend the Center on a full- or part-time basis. In addition, students may enroll in courses both in Pittsfield and Great Barrington during the same semester. Most institutional core requirements may be fulfilled at the Center. The staff at the South County Center also provide admissions advising, registration, student payment services, and communication with student services on the main campus. They serve new, returning, and prospective BCC students.
