Career and Transfer Resource Center

The Career and Transfer Resource Center contains books, periodicals, magazines, college catalogs, and other printed material. The office provides a setting where students can choose a career path based upon their interests, aptitudes, skills, values, and job-market data.

BRIDGES, a computerized career guidance system, provides assessment of student interest and aptitudes and a listing of occupations for which they may be best suited. Internet access is also available.

Employment opportunities are posted on the bulletin board across from the college store and include job openings with local and regional employers. These postings contain full-and part-time jobs, internships, and seasonal employment.

Students interested in transferring should consult with the Transfer Counselor. Students can also access BRIDGES to do a college search, which provides information about colleges that match their academic intentions.
