Berkshire Applied Technology Council
(BATC, Inc.)
The Berkshire Applied Technology Council is a collaboration
of regional employers and educators, delivering an integrated system
for technical learning in the Berkshires.
There are three primary groups of beneficiaries of
BATC programs.
- Students and incumbent workers who develop the
necessary skills to meet the demands of the present and future
workplace.
- Employers who are able to tap a larger labor pool
of qualified applicants for jobs in materials technology and information
technology.
- The Berkshire Region as a whole, continuing its
growth as a dynamic and vital location for business development
and a center of technical excellence.
